If you guys haven't already read the review that Todd did on this product, you really should. For guys who like to bowhunt and are "run and gun" type hunters, this product is a life-saver! Basically it is what it says, an extendible tree saw that is about 13" when closed and extends out to over 5 feet when fully open. It allows you to reach out and trim those pesky limbs that you can't reach with your normal hand saw, and prevents you from having to lug a full-sized pole saw around the woods with you. I've used mine several times already this fall and can't say enough good things about it. IMO it's one of those "must-have" items that every bowhunter should carry in his pack, or at the very least have in his truck!

Here's a few helpful links for those who may be interested.

I just got mine yesterday and I plan on using it this weekend on a few new locations I picked out last week. From the little bit that I have played with it I think I'm really going to like it.

I have needed it several times recently so I'm pretty pumped on getting to put it to work.

Well I got a chance to use it this weekend and let me tell you the Hooyman tree saw is a must have. Two thumbs up! The blade is extremely sharp which helps when your reaching out in your stand and can't put any weight behind it just rest it on a limb and pull. It cuts like a hot knife through butter. I also discovered that it can clip to the belt of my harness rather than hang from the string loop that it comes with, works almost like a belt loop the way the blade locks onto the handle. I travel light and don't always bring a pack up with me when I'm using my climber but this is one piece of equipment that I won't leave behind.
