I'm fine with whoever wants to be captain. I'm easy to get along with. JLS sounds great to me.

 

BTW, here is the two deer I'm gonna try to kill this year. Not monsters, but very good deer for here.

I originally took the first two days of season off this year. I decided today to only take the first day of season off and save my second day off for Nov 10th the day before Veterans Day. That will give me a 4 day weekend from Nov 8th - 11th to hunt each day. Hoping that will be a prime time this year.

My season opens up Sept. 27th. I work Tuesday-Saturday. I took off the Saturday opening day, then the following Tuesday. The off the second week of season. The best hunting here is the First two weeks it seems. I also took off Oct. 21st. Then got a few more days I'm gonna take off as well.

If anyone of you looked at my Facebook page I got a nice 10 point too. Just not as big as the two above.

 

I got this one, named him Curly...lol. I think I'd probably shoot him too, might let him go though, he's kinda young.

Hope to get out next week and snap a few picks , got a wedding this weekend ...... sure glad my kids know better than to get married during deer season

 

I'd say here soon whoever is taking over as captain should message the hunters not checked in yet...probably give till Thursday then message

 

Was thinking the same thing , give them a couple of days and if needed I'll see about rounding up the last 3 ....no reason they should be missing any of the fun .

 

So is is JLS for captain? We need to get that straightened out...I know both ty and myself have done it in the past. But if JLS wants to do it that's fine by me.

 

I'll vote JLS if he is willing. He can always ask Matt and I any questions, but really not much to it cept keeping everyone active.
