You definitely gotta restore that stand if possible. If not at least keep some sort of keepsake from it and give it to the fam and friends that have memories in it. :)

Peaceful is another opposite of where I was. It was the ghetto of GA. Some parts weren't bad but it was VERY bad in parts. Haha

    Let me get caught up:

I usually take a doe early because my freezer is always getting low after summer. Then strictly buck hunt until late season when i take my son (7yr) to harvest a doe. He loves it this will be our third season and we have put one down every year in late November.

Snakes aren't usually an issue except after flood was out checking food plots yesterday and seen 3 big black about stepped on one.

Stands I have 4 sets on my lease up north (near Monroe city) not sure where your at JLS. River bottoms duck club farm I have 4 sets, 1 blind which I use for me and my son and climber with multiple options.

Not to far away bout an hour. I'm about 8 miles north of 36 just outside hunnewell. I don't get up there that much cause my other spot is 25 min from the house. But when I can get away that's where I go love it up there.

Hello boys, Ty was nice enough to pay Team 24 a visit so I figured I would return the favor... I wanted to wish you all the best of luck. You are going to need it, as you are competing theoretically one man down having Ty on your team. "He's done forgot how to kill deer". Is that how they say it in Indiana, Ty?

Same finished mine to today. Hung another stand, trim some lanes cleared some paths to my stands, overseeded some of the bare areas of my food plots, moved a few cameras. I'm done bring on the 15th.

Finishing up some final prep work tomorrow and I should be all set and ready for season after that.

Gonna trim some branches and prep up a couple new spots for my climber. Pull my card on my cam and a couple other small things. I'm anxious for the 15th aswell.

Got the last few things done that I wanted to do before season. Checked the cam after only a week sit. Had all doe pics. But that's OK for now. Had a pretty cool squirrel pic and a neat one of a yearling doe at a funky angle.

Here's an alright sized doe I hope walks in front of my stand opening morning. Sure wouldn't mind putting her in the freezer and a quick 50 points up for us.

Thanks, It's not really a Ranch...lol. Just my 181 acres of land where I live and Hunt. Some folks thought it was high fence...lol. If I had enough cash to build a high fence I'd buy another 100 acres....lol. :p

Haha. I hear ya on that one. I'd love to have half of that much land. It's a dream of mine to someday have a good sized piece of land to manage how I see fit.

It's fun, but a lot of work. I got tired of working it myself and let two of my buddies hunt some...lol. That way they would have to help me. I let the farmer up the road from me plant corn in all my fields. Helps with the deer and about every 3-4 years he plants soy beans. He keeps up the fields very well. Works out great for me...lol.
