How many of you have a "Honey Do" list that grows from October till whenever it is that your bow season wraps up?

    I can't be the only one.......... :d

I've been trying to knock some of the smaller items off the list over the last few weeks since the close of archery season in mid november. I've only hunted the NY rifle season 2x since, and haven't even made it out in PA. Meanwhile, I'm trying to make up for the lost time on the growing list of things to do and people to spend time with. I've spent time with family, with Lisa, and things around the house (hung x-mas lights on the house today in 16 degree weather and put up the tree, etc). I plan to hit it pretty hard again after Christmas in PA during the late archery season for my remaining doe tag, and am working diligently now to spend as much time with her, family, and all the tasks I let slide during the archery season. Once the late season is over, I'll be working on the largest construction job I've ever taken on, turning our attic space into an extra bedroom/office space and the basement into my personal man cave. I'm sure I'll have my hands full all winter long once season is over with these projects..........

So what's on your Honey Do list that has been waiting all season long? Just curious if any of you are in the same boat..............

My "Honey-Do" stems more from my work schedule than hunting could ever pile on that list.

Either way, small odds and ends. Nothing serious like tackling the basement yet. Probably should straighten up that place though. It is an absolute WRECK.

Does a nationwide recession mean less "honey-do" tasks in itself? I sure hope so. :tu:

And Kyle, what honey do you even have? Honey from the pot for your biscuit in the morning doesn't count! :D

I have given up on trying to get the list cleared off. It seems to grow way faster than I could ever get it done. So let's go hunting

Mine's the never ending list. Nothing really get's done on mine during hunting season unless it's important or my wife can't stand to look at it anymore and does it herself.

How I generally handle the Honey Do list during Hunting Season is to burst into tears and get in the fetal position ...she shakes her head in disgust and leaves....then I pop up grab my gear and head out...

    Give it a try.

my honey do list gets bigger every year for some reason and SWMBO doesn't care if it impacts hunting, fishing, snowmobiles, or whateva... right now i'm kinda lucky cuz my hunting season begins while we are out of town and I can't do anything about the honey do... but at the moment the only thing on the list is remodel the basement (that's a big honey do lemme tell ya)

THere is no way that I could list my honey do's in here but a few are...
finish the kids treehouse, finish the 2 rooms that I added on last summer, fix our extra toilet, install hot tub and extend porch and awning over it, level my yard and prep it for grass seeding, finish rabbit building and prep it for summer, build a shooting berm for the family to blast our guns, overhaul our pond area and make it user friendly for parties and family gatherings, build BBQ pit for pond area, build floating deck for pond, build gazebo for pond area, build foot bridge to get to pond area, add on to my inlaws home and connect their house to a wooden shed they had bought, reseal porch and swingset I built 2 years ago, finish building a building for goats and cows, put in an invisible dog fence, add on a back porch, clean inlaws property around their house, hang several outdoor area lights, put a fire ring around the house somewhere...

Well, you get my drift. These honey do's have added up over the years. I have knocked out several big ones though so it is not like I don't do anything. Anyway, season is for another month so...grab the bow, something needs shooting! Just think, mid January is good pig hutning!

I have a "honey-do" list as well...but i gotta add in that mine couldn't WALK for 2 weeks and now has been relying on a walker or wheelchair since early November. Its been rough, and my hunting and fire fighting duties have suffered, but its all worth it. Her brace comes off on Friday, and physical therapy starts soon afterwords so im still gonna be busy as hell. Hopefully she is all healed up by turkey season.
