    does anybody else make their own treestands?

    I have a couple of stands that were made up from spare lumber around the place, one thing I will say is that I overbuild it, so it's there to last and not get weather beating and dilapidated.

    yeah, i kinda do the same. i like to use pallets as the floor of the stand. if i can find a pic of mine, i might post it.

    I'll most likely be welding a couple up for this year out of aluminum. I'll post some pics once I get them built.

    i made 4 of them out of 1/8th inch thick 1" square tubing. they are kind of heavy, but once you get them into the tree they are pretty comfortable
