Link to a few of my recent videos from the homebrew trailcam. Two pages, and all have sound ,turn up the volume. http://vimeo.com/user6342252/videos
Those are great videos Don. I'd really like to get one of those. It's been on my want list for a while but I currently have three other cameras to build. Did you build the camera yourself or did someone else? Blessings......Pastorjim
Thank you. Picked that cam up from a gentleman in Washington state Jim and really like it. It's slow when compared to the 41's and 600's, maybe 2.5-3 seconds so you have to be a little careful in placement. Won a W290 on ebay this week so it's now on the agenda when I can get to it but might be awhile.
How do you build these things?? I have been trying to figure out a way to make a decent motion sensing camera system. I have even thought about building a small base station with power ran to it and hard wire motion IR security cameras to my food plots and a couple other trails in the area. I know this sounds crazy but its a thought for good video. I know it wouldn't be cheap and I can't afford it now but, I can plan for when I graduate and get into a good paying job right? lol
Lots of good info here on building your own trailcams if you care to check out the links. http://www.d.umn.edu/~shall/Homebrews.htm
