We are having a homebrew camera workshop/get-together about 20 minutes east of Green Bay WI on weekend of Aug 17th. If anyone is interested in learning to build, or just learn about homebrew trailcams, and meeting a few guys(some hardcore whitetail hunters to) who love hunting, camtrapping and cam-building let me know. There are signup threads on a couple of the homebrew sites: Camtrapper, Hagshouse, DIYtrailcams, and Outdoortalk as well. Kdornski is an excellent host and there is room if you want to tent overnight. We have 1 guy coming from Pennsylvania and maybe a couple from Georgia, possible couple Mudducks, as well as 1(maybe 2-3) Yoopers and a few Cheeseheads. Some of us really know our stuff and some not so much but it's all good fun. There will pretty much be any and all tools you will need to build just supply your camera, control board, case and hardware and we will help you build it. It may be possible to acquire some cameras and parts from the guys who will be there if you can't get ahold of what you need before then. The main day will be Saturday but couple of us should roll in Friday afternoon/night and stay through Sunday night.
