Just go get the shot and the steroid pack. There's nothing you can do that will get rid of it any faster than that. I get it just by seeing it, and have a hard time getting rid of it. Any time I get it and it starts to spread I just go to the clinic and get a shot in the azz!
Well just got back from the doctor. Got a steroid shot. About 5 min after the shot I got light headed. Next thing I knew I was on the floor in a fog. Apparently my body didnt like the steroids. Ive been friends with my doctor my whole life, we both found it kind of funny because she weighs 100 lbs soaking wet , and she was trying to catch me. (270lbs). I said damn doc those steroids work great. I didnt feel the poison ivy one bit. Haha

I crush up zinc tablets and put some drops of water in it to make a paste. Rub the paste on the affected areas and it'll clear it up!
