Actually the numbers get even scarier prior to that. Yep.... Texas owns them at home.

Not sure when I said THIS year. And there is no foot in my mouth.

I still get a kick out of getting owned losing 3 by one run with AAA pitchers on the mound. Would you agree in general (historically) the Yankees OWN the Rangers at Texas?

From someone spouting how important winning was a few weeks ago......you ought to know there's one winner and one loser.

If you lost by one or 10.....you lost. Check it up in the "L" column.

Maybe you'll give your little leaguers a medal and a pizza party when they lose by a single run, next time? I mean....you only lost by one. That's hardly losing,.....right?

Yeah I get a loss is a loss. I also get sometimes there are extenuating circumstances that you can look at why you lost. Not an excuse, but it is what it is. Fact of the matter is( which you tend to ignore or acknowledge) is things are monumentally different this series. I'm pretty sure you know that being the baseball guy you are and everything.

I also know that some teams simply are more comfortable at certain stadiums on the road (Camden and Arlington to name a couple). Just as there are others where a road win is tougher or seems tougher at certain venues (Fenway and LA come to mind). I'm pretty sure you realize this too (at least I hope).

So I guess to just make a blanket statement like "the Rangers own the Yankees at home" is a little ridiculous without looking at all the facts.

The facts are exactly what they are.

The yankees are 1-4 in TX this yr. If you can spin that into something "good" for the yankees....have at it.
