-5 in Fargo now and heading south... gonna be in the teens here in GA with single digit wind chills.... Wish I could go sit on my green fields but season is done here.
10-4 on that one. What was the wind chill up there? -40? Wednesday looks to be worse than today! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I experienced -40ish wind chills back in November in Montana.... for someone who had never been in weather below single digits.... that was brutal. Bundle Up out there fellas.
-5 here this morning and my guys were siding. Told them all to go home but they all wanted to work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Gonna be 10 degrees here in VA. Now that is cold for this part of the US. Looking like we are going to get a couple of inches of snow tonight which should make tomorrow real interesting.
When it gets below 0 I throw on the coat instead of just going with the hoodie. It is funny how you get used to the cold. Up here it is a dry cold so it really isn't that bad.
Not sure exactly, 35-40 I believe. I usually don't pay attention to wind chill. Once you're below -0 or so, wind is wind. -35 and calm, I'm out snowshoeing, -0 with a 10-15 mph wind, I'm next to the stove with some coffee.
Cold here outside of Detroit. 5 degree this morning........this is good as we are all waiting patiently for some ice on the water
It would have been great if those temps had arrived during deer season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
WATCH IT NOW!!!!! I grew up in northern Michigan.... I will add one thing cold down here is way different then the cold I dealt with in MI, mainly because of the humidity down here.. It's the difference in a dry cold and a wet cold.... 20 degrees and almost zero humidity is not cold as long as the wind isn't howling, but 20 degrees a 88% humidity is freaking cold...lol
Very true with the cold humidity. The coldest I have been in my life was when I was down in East Texas working the space shuttle recovery in 2003. Got about 1/2" of snow and some freezing rain. Our "camp" sleeping quarters was an old cotton warehouse we set up tents on the cement. I was wearing long underware and in 2 sleeping bags trying to stay warm at night.
Yup cold humidity!!! I was stationed at Ft. Polk LA and the 30 degree windy humid days in the winter was the coldest 30 degrees I've ever felt.
