I'd be setting a trap or two in this spot.

I'll tell ya, they still have pretty nice looking coats on them for summertime. I think I'd be putting out a little bait and doing a little 'Yote WHACKING!!!!

We are having the same problem around here in Ohio, IMO the population has increased many times in the past couple years.

Main reason I won't set traps is I know too many people who've lost dogs because they got into them. I couldn't bear to find one of my beloved Lab's dead due to a trap, therefore, I'll try to render the same courtesy to other dog owners. Set some roadkill in a spot in an open area near those dogs, you'll find 'em, and have a decent chance at whacking them!!!! I had a carcass out back of my house a few short days before Ms. Coyote came in for a free meal and got a .22 Mag bullet to the head.

Love/hate relationship. Love to see them, love to shoot them, hate what they do to deer/fawns. Necessary? Maybe but I won't pass up a shot on one. :D

Thanks Rob, I suppose that puts me in good company, because I had a guy make fun of me for being willing to blow a hunt by shooting a 'Yote when the opportunity arose....... Truth be known, I think he's just jealous because he's never arrowed one!!!!
