back when I wore an ankle rig most every day, the ankles on most of my jeans would have a little tear w/in 3-4 months of purchase. I had to take a little fine file to the back of my sights, the edges were almost razor sharp. That took care of shirt wear.

Ha actually I don't think that's stupid at all. I've actually thought about trying it then buying a left handed one to use for OWB since I'm right handed.

I think you actually could but would want to maybe modify it some by cutting some of the material away so you could get a better grip. Playing around with it as is it really isn't too bad to draw.

Yeah I like the hybrid that heckler posted, BC the thought of carrying IWB while in the woods or what not isn't too appealing to me.

Yea I'd say a OWB holster would be a little better for what your looking for. I've been looking for one myself, not sure if I'll stick with same company or not. Like before depends on wait time I guess. Just looked and they have a 5 day wait time right now.

Unfortunately you may have to go with a smaller gun and a fanny pack / pouch style holster. My wife carries a body guard when she runs. The pouch almost looks like something for an ipod.....

since you have a 26, have you looked into the 511 tshirts with the built in shoulder holster pouches?
I know the shirts are very breathable and wouldn't be bad to run in. The piece would print a bit, but still technically be concealed if that is a legal worry. Just throwing it out there.

Well. I'm buying a G42 so holsters and concealment should be easy. I didnt realize G42 is only about 17oz loaded whike the G26 is about 27oz loaded. Legality isn't an issue, I'm applying for my permit today. Too bad .380 bullets are more expensive than 9mm, wtf?

As for the 5.11 shirt, I hate wearing anything more than underarmor when I workout, obviously I find the heavy army cotton tees extremely annoying = )

Funny thing is I've been looking into running holsters on Google and the comments people make about carrying a piece to protect against dogs cracked me up. Some are legit like trying to find another route and someone from Israel said they run with rockets raining down on them but they don't carry. Obviously different environment and I would carry if I were that person. Most were talking about the poor dog, I can tell ya most of those people who were against those people carrying guns have never been bit by a dog.

As for the op. I stumbled upon remora holsters last night. Clipless beltless whatever less. It simply uses the adhesion. I've read good reviews on it, though not for big sweaters. Also found out last night everyone's holster marketing term is "most comfortable holster available".

Chop I know you've pretty much set on the g42...but take a look at the sig p238....very very easy gun to conceal and I believe is smaller and lighter than the glock (you may want to check that to be sure I'm not off on that but I'm pretty sure)

Edit- never mind...i forgot about your discount deal with the glock....the sig would put you in the 5 to 600 range

Yea. I'm also trying to stick with one brand for once in my life. People say glocks are ugly but I think they're beautiful. Well Walther p90 and spring fields do look a lot better.

If you like the Crossbreeds, check into Theis Holsters. IMO they are made from better quality materials and are cheaper. He has an excellent warranty also.
