I just checked the temperature for the next two days for WV, PA , MD, VA, and NC. On average the temps are going to be dropping 10-20 degrees over the course of the next 36 hours!

HOLD on boys, it is ON!

Man I couldn't be more excited for the Saturday archery opener in VA.

Its been raining here almost nonstop for weeks, so I'm hoping the combination of clear weather and cool temperature really gets the deer moving.

I hope I can get out Saturday evening... fresh cut corn, 40's, should be great if the wind doesn't get too crazy...

Also hold on cause there are some high winds headed that way. We had 45 mph gusts throughout today. Interesting day to hang a stand.

Supposed to be in the low 40s here Saturday morning! Looking forward to it and the NNW wind they're projecting. It's on!

I am excited yet apprehensive about the winds.
With great temperature drops, comes great winds.

And all my decent locations are hilltops.

I'm excited. I'll get to hunt tomorrow morning but agreed to work a trade for a co-worker tomorrow night. BUT he's going to work TWO of my shifts next week. So it works out great for me. Good luck to all.

I'm pumped to get into the woods tomorrow morning. But I'm not thrilled about the high winds. I'll give it a go, but if it the wind gets too nasty, I'll pack it in for the day. The first week or two of season here in PA never gets me too excited honestly.
