It has been sometime since i've been around. I have been quit busy. So much so i have not made any new bows nor have hunted much. I am hunting with the same bow i made for last season. An ipe, osage quad lam with bamboo backing. R/d longbow 68 lbs @ 28". I did not get much of a chance to hunt. I did shoot a doe on opening day and several hogs. I tried several times to go hunt but just couldnt find the time. I did go out yesterday and tag a buck. here is the buck. He would have had a nice rack with twelve points, except 4 tines where broke off from fighting. ] and a couple of hogs shot one afternoon. The bow is one i made for 2010 season and the quiver was made from a buck i shot last season.
Thanks all. I was very lucky for how little ive hunted. This is the last week of the season, so i am going to try to get out one last time.
