I'd love to hunt hogs there. Wear my shoulder and trigger finger out on them:)

One thing that hogs will not put up with is dog pressure. Here in the South the hog population has gone crazy. The best way we have found to clear them off a tract of land is to hunt them with dogs.

    The 2nd best is trapping.

3rd is to hunt them. We use feeders and put out 4lbs of corn a day. We also have permits to hunt them at night. You would be amazed at how the 4lbs a day works better than throwing a 50lb bag on the ground.

Best thing to do if you own the land is put up a hog proof fence to keep them out.

Then declare war on the ones on the inside of the fence.

The lease we had in East TX was over run with hogs I shot 12 in 1 sitting while my hunting partner shot 6 at another feeder we could have shot more that night except we run out of arrows.

We shot every hog we seen and still did not make a dint in the population, we ended up giving up the lease because of the pigs.

I hope we never have that problem here where I'm at.

    Sounds terrible!

I'd be up for trying it sometime though, just hopefully not on my land!

Hogs and Yotes are on the same level, IMO.

SOB. Where were they? lol. I have never seen a hog in that state!

On the other hand.... I have never seen one, anywhere. Even when I was down in Monterey, CA. They said they were overrun with em down there too.

But, If anyone in NC has a problem with them. Let me know. I have a WHOLE LOT of slugs for the boomstick, that I will never use, and let's face it, I'm itchin' to shoot!
