I also got busted this weekend, I had the two largest boars I've ever seen in person show up around 6:00pm. O watched them eat for a little bit and the big black one presented a nice quartering toward shot. You know not to much front shoulder towards me just a nice window to his opposite elbow. So I began to move my bow into position and this disgusting one eared boar busted me and took off running. Which resulted in the other one running. I was so upset I didn't even get my bow out of my lap! I'll upload pics of them in a sec.

Good looking set up but if they're spotting you, may be time to set up another spot too.

This is the pig that busted me I think the reason he saw me was because he was broadside to me. Also to make myself feel better I'm going to throw in that he is smarter than the average hog lol!

The first one is the two together and the second is the one I was going to shoot. He never noticed me until his buddy ran away and I think he just ran because his friend did

But I think you are correct I should move the bucket feeder and find a new spot on the creek I'm sure they have high alert for this area now

Once they are on to a certain stand, I've had success with whitetails by putting up a new stand a little bit away from the existing stand and have shot deer as they looked for me in the old stand.

Well than that is what I'll do I actually convienetly have a second stand about twenty or thirty yards behind that feeder. The reason being is when I found this spot in the woods and put a camera I found excellent deer movement and to capitalise on the location I put two stands for north and south winds. You can't see it in the picture but there is a creek that runs behind that bucket feeder. So I've got a stand on either side.

Tell her it's a dirty job but somebody's got to do it

Here is a PG13 video which shows why we really love getting out in the woods.
