My wife has proposed that we go on a hog hunt this year for a family Christmas outing. I think that sounds like a lot of fun. I would love a chance at getting a hog with my bow. We don't have feral hogs up here in northern Missouri, so I don't really know where I should be looking. I know Texas and Oklahoma have pretty high populations of hogs. The prices are very wide ranging for hog hunts from the outfitters that I have found on the web. Does anyone on here have experience with an outfitter? It is something I would like to do, but I'm not going to break the bank for it either. I'm just looking for some guidance on how to get this ball rolling.

If you really want a vacation/hunting adventure look down here at Florida. Plenty of hogs and plenty of people you can pay to take you. And bonus your not far from the beach and trust me there will probably be a day with beach weather even in December.

A couple of buddies when to Georgia few months back for a three day hunt that included lodging, meals, and all the hogs you wanted. It was about $500 per person.
