How can you "thread" a sever through really small openings compared to other heads? If it's that tight of a shot where that's a criteria, it's not ethical. Also, I'm guessing most all plastic fleatching has a bigger diameter then most broadheads?
Well, the other head I had in my quiver was a 1 1/2" fixed blade. As that head rotates in the air, it's much easier for it to clip a leaf or twig, than a field point sized broadhead. Nothing unethical about it...just stacking the odds in my favor of getting the broadhead thru brush and impact the animal where I'm aiming. It's actually more "ethical" if you like to use that logic.
