After bickering with these buttheads I call friends we finally got everybodys vacations, sitters, and wives in order. March 27 at Blackmountainhunts in oklahoma it will be first blood for the Maxxis. Has anyone heard much about this place? I havent had the chance study it as much as I would have liked, and all the places I know were booked. Looking forward to the hunt. This also will be my friends first kill with a bow and I plan on filming it, that is if he lets me. It may be too much pressure. I even donated my old bow to him. I couldnt bear to sell it anyway.

    Good luck!

I just booked my first hog hunt last week. It was tough getting everyone lined up with a time that worked for all of us (we're taking 8 guys). We're scheduled to hunt Shiloh March 11-13........of 2011! It's a long ways off but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

i hope you did pay for that hunt. i hunt in south georgia, and if you ask any farmers they will let you hunt for free, sometimes pay you. i went two weeks ago and killed 8 hogs and the farm ask me to come back after they plant the spring crops

Yeah, I've heard about them for years, but it's quite a wait to get in. Finally found a weekend when enough others in the family could go so we booked. Hope it lives up to its billing because we'd like to make this an annual trip. Good luck on your hunt, let us know how it goes.

It would cost me three times what Im spending now just to travel to where the hogs are plentiful enough or nuisance enough for someone to let me shoot them for free. This hunt is more about myself and friends getting together for the weekend and having fun anyway.
The older I get and the older the kids get the less time I have for hanging out with the buds.
