I am looking at doing a hog hunt in west Texas near Abilene towards the end of March. I have never hunted that part of Texas. Has anyone hunted that area or have any general advice on hunting hogs? I have shot a couple while deer hunting but never specifically pursued hogs.

Use a fixed broadhead "i prefer slicks" and do it at night, its more fun. And if u do it at night, use green or red lights. Good luck!!!

Thanks, slick tricks are what I use. I have no idea whether we will hunt at night or not. Do you know anything about the terrain in that part of Texas?
