    Any big hockey fans out there? Always nice to finish a day of bowhunting with coming home to a good bruins game!

    You bet!! Played hockey all the way through school. My 4 year old daughter Is In her 1st year of hockey this year. So far the Wild here In Minnesota have had a great season. I'm betting It doesn't last though.

    I stopped playing a couple of years ago and I miss it. But, like Brett Favre, I'm not ready to call it quits yet. I'm coming out of retirement next season.

    Insert that with a Rangers game and I agree.


    I fear hockey will soon be going down the road of the NFL. With Crosbys concussion and now another recent one, i bet they start changing the way players are hit, dishing out fines and suspensions (ala ..... NFL)

    I came out of retirement last year. I play mens league again and enjoy it as much as before. I had stopped playing for about 5 years. I had coached a little but not played at all in that time. My skills are not where they were in my younger years and that is the toughest part of playing again.(I am 40 now) But I can still keep up with the younger kids out there.

    Since I moved to the US from Canada, hockey is not the same for me anymore. Up there hockey is like football is here, and hockey during the winter olympics is like the super bowl here. Can't seem to find the same enthusiasm for it around where I live.

    I'm from wi so I started skating at about 7 and played a few years but now I'm stuck in VA and we don't have ice like we do back home... We have a seasonal outdoor rink and I work there teaching kids how to skate and picking people up off the ice after they fall and here not many people know what a rink looks like let alone know how to skate lol but one thing I really miss is pond hockey! Now that's fun!

    Played men's league till I was 50....Couldn't keep up with the young studs any more. Still play rat hockey every week all year long though! Chicago VS Min. tonight.......GO HAWKS!!!
