I purchased the HME Better Bow Hanger from Gander Mountain two weeks ago.

If you are not familiar with this bow hanger, it comes with three mounting bolts that screw into three different stand locations. That way you can take your hanger with you and it simply attaches by a wing nut. It is like getting three bow hangers for the price of one.

Well I am very happy with the unit except I have more than 3 stand locations. I contacted the company and asked if they sell just the mounting screws. They e-mailed me back saying they do not sell them but would be happy to help me out and send me some for free. They even paid the shipping to my door. I must say that is great customer service and I highly recommend others to try their products out.

It is good to know there still is customer service in some companies.

    Just my 2 cents .

I have been looking at them at the shop. I like the sound of the customer service.

This is the hanger I used last year and I loved it. The 3 mounting screws made for a fast and easy change in locations. One thing I would suggest is to carry an extra wing nut or 2. I dropped one while trying to mount it and rather then strapping back into my climber and retrieving the wing nut, I just held the bow the entire evening.

I did the same thing. I bought a dozen extra wingnuts. Just in case.

When it starts getting cold I could see myself dropping more than early season.

I got it last year as well, love it! I might have to give them a call to see if I can get more mounting screws too:p

Huh, I have browsed over this items hundreds of times and just thought it was another generic hanger. I love my EZ hanger, but this has my attention. I may just have to check it out. Thanks.

    Ben,

I am not one for China made crap. This hanger has no sign of being generic.

I sent them an email Friday night asking if they did this as well. Here is their response.

    Great company to deal with.

I have a universal bow hanger that mounts onto my stand made by them, the "screw" is held by a wire to prevent dropping it.
