    Awesome!

Just wondering, where's the best place to search for them? I'll be out next weekend on the farm so I figured I'd try and find some.

I find alot of mine in 3 different locations. Creek banks where the bank is in the sun biggest part of the day. Around dead elm trees specially if the bark is all over the ground. Biggest one I have ever found was actually growin from underneath a big pease of bark. An another good spot would be in or around may flowers. I don't tend to find huge numbers in the may flowers but they are usually good for a handful. An when one you find one scan that area pretty well cause you will normally find a few!

Not the motherhouse by any means, but considering I found my first morels of the season exactly 4 weeks ago today I was a bit surprised today. Found just shy if two pounds of very fresh yellows and greys here in central IL. It's been a weird season, hot cold and rain followed by warm and dry, rinse and repeat. Some areas look like they're done and then bam, fresh mushrooms pop.

    Finds from today

Calling it a season, the ground cover is taking over the woods. Had a decent year, nothing spectacular but I'm happy with it.

Have about 6-7lbs. ready to start prepping for storage, probably have already eaten another bowl this size.

    Today's finds

I'll probably spend tomorrow getting these fried up and in the freezer.

Found these on a short walk this afternoon. Went to move a deer stand and got little distracted.
