This show is so bad it makes me sick. They act like hunting is a joke. He says hes going for a morning hunt at gets there at 6:30? Im in my stand a hour before daylight. What got me most is when that guy complained about having to drag his deer 50 yards, or the time the guy was complaining about draging his deer when he was using a game cart. This show is literally the worst thing my eyes have ever seen.

I was really hoping it would open up peoples eyes to urban hunting.
    Guess that's not gonna happen.
Good luck getting permission to hunt on property of someone that saw this show and was thinking about letting someone until they saw this crap

These guys are tools! Smoking constantly, swearing no doubt gives a bad view of the sport. Talking about one guys deer virginity and most of the deer they are tracking for hours. The buck was laying there with a giant whole in the neck.

Not what I expected at all.
I don't think it could have been any worse. Horrible, staged nonsense!

I watched the first couple of minutes and switched over to Outdoor Channel. Chasing Tail reminds me of a vulgar version of the Red Green show.

Arleast the red green show is intertaining.

They might get some non hunters to watch it, but I doubt it.

Couldn't we say that DD was a Deadliest Season (or whatever the first one of this type of show was) Rip off?

I caught about an episode and a half last night and was not impressed at all. As other have said, this is so far from reality that it's a bad joke.

What puzzles me the most is how poorly the story is put together. So you have this group of guys that all hunt together in the suburbs around all of these million dollar houses, yet they seem to spend 90% of their time sleeping and hanging out in some dude's barn that they claim is their "hunting camp" where they smoke, drink coffee and bicker with each other. I don't understand why they don't sleep at home in their own beds? It's not like they're off in the deep woods somewhere with no power or running water. They're literally in someone's mowed back yard. WTH?

The overall story certainly isn't representative of your average hunter - ESPECIALLY ones that would be hunting in suburban areas. Living and hunting in this exact type of area I can tell you that nobody is out in 100% camo all the time, knocking on doors asking for permission to hunt at someone's giant McMansion.

And the scene with the guy hunting from the deck and helping the lady rake her yard? C'mon man!

All in all I think the show pretty well blows and certainly isn't going anything to help dispell the myth that all hunters are a bunch of camo-wearing, beer-guzzling idiots.

Cam Hanes running ultra marathons in the mountains and preaching about fitness doesn't seem to bad now does it?? :D :busted:

I have to agree with the consensus. From just what I saw of the previews, the History Channel should be induced to pull that crap or at least put up a disclaimer that the views and antics portrayed on the program are not that of the general hunting population. If it is, then I am not part of the general hunting population, nor even close. IMO - A barn loft with a power, running water, toilet, and microwave etc is not at all a 'deer hunting camp'.
