My brother and I set out last weekend to do some hinge cutting around my clover plot. I'll tell you what, I've been cutting trees out of my woods for 4 years now. Cleared food plots, cleared driveways and building areas along with a lot of firewood. This hinge cutting was a wrestling match that never ended! Pushing, pulling, twisting. swearing.... you name it. Out of 100 trees only about a dozen fell on their own. Some we could pull down, the rest were either pushed with the tractor or we used a pulley chained to a tree and pulled the hinge cut down. It was a work out but I thought it was cool. Still have more to do but here it is so far.

When the hinges would break, I hauled away my mistakes for firewood!
