Since I have problems seeing through the peep sight in low light, I decided to try out the Hindsight Eclipse. I spoke with the manufacturer and he assured me that it would be better for me and gave me a money back guarantee that if I did not like it, he would give me a full purchase price refund (minus the shipping costs). I had it two days after I ordered it and put it on my old bow. I got it sighted in and noticed immediately how much easier it was to get sighted in on the target. Also, once sighted in, it forces you to use the same anchor point each time because if you don't the front sight and rear recticle do not line up. In no time at all my pattern on the target had tightened up immensely. Yesterday, I purchased a new bow and had the sight put on. I figured I was going to have to start from the beginning to get it sighted in again. All I ended up having to do is move the front sight one tick to the right and she was ready to go again with one difference, My 10 yard pin is now good for 10 and 20; my 20 yard pin is now the 30 & 40; and what was my 30 yard pin is good for 50 yards (all due to the new bow). I am really satisfied with this sight and would not hesitate to recommend it to others who have problems with a peep sight in low light!
Which model do you have IowaVet? I've been looking into using something other than a peep sight. What other recommendations do all of yall have? Thanks
Hindsight have many models, but there are only two Eclipse Models 3 pin and 5 pin. http://www.hindsightco.com/store/scripts/prodlist.asp?idCategory=48&sortField=price I have the 3 pin because that's all I need.
I had problems seeing my peep in low too, till I removed it. My groups are tighter now than with the peep.
New to the forumn, but I have the anchor sight. Elimates the need for a peep and forces you to use the same anchor point each time you draw back. It works for me.
