Anyone using the hind sight? I'm not real happy and am thinking of going back to a peep but that question is should I use the type with our without the rubber tube?

The type with tubes are stupid. Ive never personally used one but have seen multiple people get snapped in the face when they break.

Ok I've been waiting for this and my season is over so I'll be getting a new string very soon. I shoot Mathews z7. Very small aperture peep sight with a tube. I've always wondered about the tubeless peeps. How do they stay straight. Are they available in small aperture. I think about 1/8". I've seen the small blue deals that I think g5 makes. Can't figure them out tho.

If you have a well built string and it is settled in. You ca use a peep without tubing and not have an issue.

An update on my hind sight issue..... I have decided to stick with my Hind Sight. I have tried to sight it in the way that the video shows but since everyone is different and all of our equipment is different I have set it up in a different way. Have a True Glow 5 pin sight and use the middle pin as the Hind Sight anchor. You are suppose to put that pin in between the two Hind Sight pins. Because of the "issues" I just cover that pin with the left Hind Sight pin and everything lines up and I am good to go. I am not going to use a peep sight because it is easier on my old eyes (66 years old) and I believe that my string is faster without the peep and tubing. I shoot with a loop so I know that the peep would always line up but we are still good with the present set up. I went out this afternoon and shot 15 arrows at 20 yards and all on the button. I am going to practice at 20 yards until I am tired of that and I can do it in my sleep then I will step back to 30 yards. At this time in my life my most ethical shot distance is 40 yards but I am only about 90% confident with that. If there is only one thing that I hear most of in all of bow hunting is the word "practice."

My avatar. .... How many times have you looked in your deer cam to see if it's working. This is usually the type of picture that it takes. I had to put it up.

Just to put this to rest.... I went today to the pro shop and had them switch out my Hind Sight for a regular 1/4" peep. I just didn't have the confidence in the Hind. I shot it at the shop and the peep was adjusted perfectly and then I went home and shot in my backyard and zeroed it in and I am right on the money seeing everything and confident. So far I am out to 20 yards and making sure that everything is settled in before I go to 30 and 40. Who knows maybe with this I might be able to shoot 50 yards. Winter is coming up and I am still going to practice out in the snow and in my basement. Practice, practice, practice. Thanks guys for all of the comments and the help.

I love my hind sight, I have never used a better system. I spoke with the owner about some issues, he spent a lot of time with me over the phone getting me set up right. This was greatly appreciated.

I know that the Hind Sight is a quality product and the owner stands behind it as well. My problem was not really with the sight per se but with my confidence in myself as to making the best shot when the moment of truth comes. I used it for over a year and always in the back of my mind there was that little bit of concern. So when all is said and done it me rather than the piece of equipment. If you fish you might liken it to confidence in a particular lure in all situations.
