I use one. It made a heck of difference in my hunting success.

For target shooting I don't know that it helps but for shooting in real hunting situations, it's awesome.

Not only do you not have the peep issues but when you're bending/twisting as you often have to do when hunting, you can correct for the bow torquing that would otherwise screw up the shot.

Yeah. She's sharpening a knife now...no wait, she's dulling it. She says a sharp knife's too good for you. (J/K)

I use a hindsight also and really like it. I can see that it will tell you what you aree doing as far as torquing the bow. I've found that with my hand wide open, I can torque my bow. When I do it shows up in the sight.
To put my comment in perspective, I've never used a peep. But I've heard all kinds of horror stories about what can happen.

You're a brave man Ken. You've seen me beat up on Justin and I like Justin. ;)

I get the 'but you're a woman, I'm not going to take you seriously.' thing enough that it doesn't bother me. Occasionally, it does surprise me. At the ATA show I often get this:
Vendor who has been giving attention to whatever guy I'm standing next to, then notices me: "Do you bowhunt?"
    Me: "Oh yeah."
Vendor (in a isn't that cute tone): "Really? That's nice."

If you want to be amused, follow Deb Knoff around. She really knows her stuff and manages a big bowshop. She has a hard time getting taken seriously as a hunter or as a buyer. :bash:

Anyhow, you should really look at the hind sight. :d

I was looking at the hind sight and was wondering which one you use Christine. Is there a big difference from one to another (other than price). I use the string splitter, which I like cause it does allow light in at dark when you can't see through other peeps. But I think I would be more accurate with the hind sight.

I use the Crossfire on my current hunting bow. I have the Ghost Rider on my new bow. I'd recommend going a step up from the pins on the Crossfire. (they just have the short fiber optics)

On my new Ghost Rider I have some new rear 'cross hairs' that have fiber optic points in them. I'll get a picture up soon. It worked pretty good for shooting technohunt.

How much does the setup weigh? I love the idea, but it just looks so bulky to me.

If you use it for a little while it becomes second nature to line up your pins and crosshair. At that point you have a consistent anchor point w/out torquing the bow.
That's what counts in a hunting situation.

I line up my top pin with the crosshairs. Since most all of my hunting is done with that 20 yard pin anyhow.

But you gotta use what you're comfortable with.
