I moved from flat Louisiana to hilly East Tennessee. I had issues this season with hunting up a tree with very obstructed view due to all the leaves still in the trees and saplings. I also had issues ground hunting with not having a clear view on deer due to the hills and rolls of the terrain only seeing head or backs. And I only hunt public, So can y'all please help an old man out in this hilly country hunting. Thanks

Welcome. Moved from LA back to TN. Many will trim limbs during the summer to spot dense leaf clusters, trim them and be ready for fall. Pruning shears and trimming saws are part of hunting many places.

    Welcome Bayou!

This is great advice. I won't hunt a stand location that I haven't prepped before the season starts. I'll sometimes make in-season adjustments too. It makes all the difference.
