So last year i had a big buck show up on camera at my house. I named him high hope. I hunted for him all season. He was strictly nocturnal for the most part. Had him a few times on camera before shooting time was over in the evening thru mid oct. After that he had vanished. Not 1 picture... searched for sheds and found nothing. Hes back... Last year he moved around during the day until he shed his velvet. Ive narrowed down to where hes staying. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
So how do you get him off that nocturnal stuff, I set my feeders to go off about 3:00am to spook em off, not sure if it backfired yet Sent from my XT1585 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
9x out of 10 feeding/baiting deer in a unnatural way turns them nocturnal. Baiting is illegal in my county so thats not a problem. Just going to have to hunt him in the rut or catch him moving in the day before. He slipped up a few times and moved before dark last year. Unfortunately is was usually on sunday when i was hunting in the other county that had sunday hunting. This year we have sunday hunting now. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
