    If shooting him would make you happy, go for it. I think your age guess is good which means his antlers are in there prime right now. If maturity is the most important factor to you, now is as good a time as any. He would get an arrow from me.

    Well guys, by the end of the day tomorrow I hope to have our first 50 points. Gonna try to fill my antlerless tag tomorrow afternoon. Then maybe I will be able to resist the urge to put an arrow through the first little buck I see.

    Awesome Bootleg! I was hoping, but I only saw 2 deer. One was a huge doe that never came in, and one came from downwind and knew I was there judging by the reaction. I will be back out there in the morning if my north wind holds.

    I had to come home yesterday but my 15 year old son is still up in bear camp. He has one more chance tonight before he has to come home for school. We had a nice sow come in the other night with 3 cubs and he had 2 smaller bears come in last night. Hopefully tonight the fatty comes in. Here is a picture from earlier of the sow and cubs that came in.
