I will kill a handful of doe and at least 1 buck. I plan on killing 4 nice bucks but that is just a little too much to guarantee.

Should have some pics to share over the next few days. One of the guys are checking cameras on one side of our valley tomorrow and Saturday I am checking the other side and the next valley down plus Saturday one of the guys that deer hunts with me on my lease is going north to check the bear baits for my sons hunt while I check for big buck pics

Other than shooting does the most important part is making sure to take 2 pictures. The pictures has to have you the deer and your bow in both. Trying to photoshop or crop the picture does not work and the person who trys to cheat the second picture always ends up butt hurt so lets try and not have that happen to us

 

This contest is for fun too, no one is going to get mad if you don't shoot a deer and do not shoot a buck that you aren't happy with because you want to get the team points. Also if you want to shoot the first buck you see, do what makes you happy and don't worry about the score. This is one of my favorite parts about this site so hopefully we have some fun in here and if we shoot a bunch of deer that will be a bonus.

 

Hung a stand today and put up a camera. Will be out later this week to hang a couple more. Got a late start this year, so no pics yet. Hopefully can get a few shooters on cam by start of season. Opens up September 3rd here in Kentucky.

 

I will check my TN cams this weekend.

I'm usually good for at lest a doe. I have 2 doe tags an a buck tag. I try to put a doe down as soon as I can. Meat for the freezer. i have a trip planed for ohio this year. I usually hunt just PA, Northwest PA.
