high fence hunting

I was just wondering I have heard a few people say that some tv shows hunt like this or buy big deer and shoot them or something just for the show. Does anybody know if any shows actually do this and if so which ones?

 

Some shows its obvious, like when there are 5-10 mature bucks feeding 50 yards from a huge box stand or blind two hours before dark and the guys are hunting in blue jeans and a camo shirt. Its been a while since I have watched hunting tv shows so I cant name any but they are definitely out there.

 

I have seen shows like that but I just thought they were baiting them.

 

Some are baiting some are high fence, I would venture to say a lot of high fence hunts use bait as well.

I LOVE these shows!! Those big deer are awesome!! My fav was on Jimmy Houstons old show. He had one drugged inside a fence, then turned it out and shot it. It wandered out in front of his tree stand and he shot it! What a great hunt, just like the real thing!!

Like others have said sometimes its obvious!

 

Some are very clear that they are high fence. Other's aren't.
I am not sure about some as well.
some make it very clear that they are fair chase...
who knows...
