Hey Guys, just got home, had a great time hunted harder than I have ever hunted ... never did get a shot. Lope numbers WAY down in those mountains... (tough winter) hunted one big buck and his herd.. 28 does, HE and a smaller buck ... Got locked onto him and didnt want to hunt any other buck. Have lots of footage of him but he never gave me a close enough shot. He ran from about 6500 up to 8000 feet in some of steepest country I have hunted lopes on. More like goat hunting than Antelope. Tired right now, gonna get caught up on some things around the house.. Get some pix and video clips loaded up tomorrow ... after work, I go back to teaching tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments and good wishes, I really had a great hunt, one of the toughest I have ever done but it was great and Dee and I had a blast chasing that big herd buck around for 7 days.. it was 19 degrees one morning!

Anyway I have pix, video and some stories to tell (Bear encounter) but am too tired (drove 12 hours today) to do it all tonight.. Thanks again friends.. Hope ya all are getting geared up for whitetails I get to hunt them and elk Sat!

Bear encounter?? Interesting!! Glad you had a good time with the wife on the hunt, a kill doesn't always make a hunt but you know that anyway.;)
