Well friends, the camper is prepped, packed and stocked. The camo's are packed, the bow is nestled in its case, the dodge diesel is loaded with fuel (130 gallons, counting the slip tank).. We pull out in the morning for a 7-8 day DIY public land archery Antelope hunt in Southern Idaho's Salmon/Challis National Forest. Same place I missed a buck last year. The range finder is the only addition I have made to my gear from last We'll be camping right at 6000 feet and hunting the lopers all the way up into the timberline right around 7500, beautiful country down there and lots of it! Wish us luck, Dee is filming it all for me and Dee's mom is joining us to watch the boys while we hunt. I am stoked, Archery season is here! See you guys all next week.
Thanks Wash, sorry I missed ya yesterday at Sportmans! dangit, we'll hook up sooner of later LOL And if I get one it's a deal, I'll bring ya some steaks!

Hunting already, dang you Troy, some guys have all the luck. Good luck on those goats, and take lots of pics.
Best of luck Troy. After seeing some of the footage from last year's hunt, i'd have to say you're in some of the most beautiful and amazing antelope hunting country out there. Have fun
Good luck Mr. P! Sounds like you're pretty jacked up for the trip, buddy! No hunting for me for another 6 weeks. I admit it - I'm jealous.
Good luck Shed, I'll be after those Pronghorn next year and I look forward to it. For now, I anticipate stories and photos when you get back.
