Shot 3 does last year, and one real small public land 8 pointer (which was the root of a bit of drama cause I procrastinated getting it scored and didn't get it entered) The best deer I have on camera is pretty small, so I'll be looking to get another public land buck this year.
Hey guys....checking in I'm chris...upstate ny...season starts Oct 1st....can't wait for the season to fire up! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
Put another cam and a trophy rock out here in Indiana. 3 cams in Indiana and 1 in TN. I mainly use them just for fun. If I catch a giant of course I would pay him more attention but in no way have I saturated my hunting areas with cams. I am going to give this guy a try. I have never killed a 6x6 before. Allegheny State Park in NY or Allegheny National Forest in PA? I live right next to the ANF. Lot of country to hunt. Can't be a wimp when hunting the ANF because none of it is very flat.
Looks like we are just missing one. I'll send him a message tonight. Like TC said, anyone for captain and any ideas on a name? Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
Allegheny in NY, I grew up in the northern Adirondacks I've only been out here for a year. All and all the Adirondacks are some of the toughest areas ive ever hunted but I've always been successful. It's definitely a wake up call to the flatlanders though!
This guy slipped through my hands last fall, I made a big mistake by taking a doe during the rut, I've seen him 3 times in velvet this year on private land. Hopefully he'll stick around!!
As far as captain I have no idea...any volunteers to take on that responsibility?? Team name ideas 1) THWAPPERS (everyone loves the thwap sound!) 2) JUST A MATTER OF TINE 3) FOC IT 4) BROKE-N-ARROW can't think of any more right now but that should get the ball rolling on some ideas Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
What're the obligations that come with being team cap? As far as team names, I'm open minded foc it might work. Buck-a-neers?
big bucks in that area. also heard of some big ones that come out of the Randolph, ny area as well. if you hunt the adirondacks then you would have no problem.
I'm game for anything, I think we need to have a team cap and name sooner than later, they're doing the official team cap/name check ins now
