Waiting to walk in at first light so I could be quiet. There was no wind so I wanted to get in there quiet and without a light. After I was all the way climbed up I heard him rubbing a tree. I grabbed bow and turned around he was at 10 yards making a scrape. I had to wait for him to finish and take a step before I could draw. He stepped, his eyes were behind a cedar and I held above his elbow. He ran about 35 yards and fell over![IMG][IMG][IMG]

Pass threw and this is where he tore out of there.

Was out at one of the public spots I scouted on a whim tonight. Had a doe at 20 yards but behind me so I couldn't get a shot. On my way out there saw a small buck chasing a doe in the middle of a field.

Been hunting in evenings 3-4 times a week. I have seen lots of deer but only 1 shooter. Never came in range. Things should start getting better from here on out, but the competition picks up immensely next weekend.
General Season( any weapon) starts in a week.

Awesome buck!!! Been slow going here I'm looking for does but three days in a row I've had a young buck (or pair of bucks) under my stand. Going to my meat spot today to see if I can get it done!! Screenshot_2015-10-31-13-38-37.jpg

Getting ready to go out this evening gonna sit where I **** that button buck since there is a small mud puddle there and it's warm. Hopefully one will come and drink out of it. It's pretty warm today but I can't kill them on the couch watching football

Toughest season I've had in a long while. All I'm seeing is buck after buck after buck. Young ones too. I've got another buck tag but I'm really hanging onto it. I'd like to put a doe or two in the freezer sooner than later, by this time last year I had a buck and 3 does down.my trail cameras are saying "nocturnal" and I've been choosing my sits there very carefully. Been tough anyone else notice a big decline in activity this year?

I'm just frustrated in general. Haven't had the time to do anything. Got slammed with overtime since September, wife is in school, son in Boy Scouts. When I can go, the weather has been WARM. Things just haven't worked out for me this year so far.

Been a very down season here too. Warm, not much movment, and I haven't had a single doe in range. Have passed on a few small bucks, and almost had a great 8 point last weekend, he just would walk 5 more steps into my lane.

Saw a buck chasing a doe on Sunday morning, so hoping get that is a good sign of things to come. 2 weeks til the gun season opens here, so hoping to get at least a buck before then.

seems like everything is a week later then normal. I was looking at some pics from last year and the rut was the best for me on Nov. 3rd. this year not even close. tomorrow I will be at it all day every day til it is over.

I'm in and set up this morning. Been having close encounters with 2 deer I'd love to shoot, just not getting lucky. I got aggressive today, and implemented estrous to my mock scrapes for the first time this year. I also used a drag rag, so hopefully something can't resist the urge to check it out.

Got my camera with me, but I can't decide if I wanna shoot a doe or not. Only way I will is if the footage is to good not to.
