Congrats on the die. It's gonna be a good weekend to hunt the high for today was 70 and the high for the next three days is 50s with a low in the 30 we have a freeze warning already. Can't wait to get in the stands Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Was out this afternoon... didn't see anything but they are saying first frost tomorrow, with temps hitting 27 tonight/morning and no wind.

Moved a stand last weekend, and camera and got this guy, hope he comes out about 45 mins sooner. 12109807_10153770382336929_7367561924037260994_o.jpg

Will be out more this weekend, hoping with the cooler temps deer will be moving.

    good luck guys!

I was able to get out on my land this Sunday. Didn't see anything, but saw a TON of scrapes pop up. I put 2 cameras out on the scrapes to see if I get some action.

It's nice seeing deer sign in this area. It was se devastated by flooding last year almost all summer long.

Sorry for the absence! Been sick with the flu for a few days, missed a nice doe at 30 yards due to an unnoticed twig. I know it won't count but with a temp of 102.6 I got in my truck and drove from NY to Indiana to try and TAG my first Midwest monster! Come Sunday if I don't have a buck down and I see a doe I'll make the shot! Hope this finds you all well!!

I went out tonight and in the stand 30 mins heard the loudest sound of two bucks fighting. Then I seen and nice eight point come running out of the woods. Then all of a sudden out of a header row came a doe and a fawn with the biggest set of antlers I have ever seen hunting my brother watched him for and hour and half and I got to see was five mins of him. Gonna loose some sleep tonight knowing that one that big is out there. Going in the morning to do some rattling.

any time you question it get out of there. probably a good decision. looks like a liver shot the way the blood is coated on the arrow. he will be dead where he beds.

hunted all day yesterday and seen nothing. then I started questioning my stand setup. but like always checked my camera and my hitlist buck is still in there. he is still a nightrunner. hope he gets out of that funk.

Well I found him this morning he was only 10 yards where we stopped looking but the only problem is that we didn't find him first the damn yotes. It only went about 70 yards.

Had a ton of action in iowa this past weekend. Sat saturday and sunday morning and saw around 15ish deer in total..Only 4 bucks..all were basket rack or smaller but they came cruising through and one trashed a sappling 15 yards from my stand for a good 15 minutes . Next weekend should be pretty awesome! Buddy was hunting a few miles away and saw 2 mature bucks bumping does around. It's warming up and chasing should be wide open by next weekend.
