What is the best way to hide a camera a lot of people say to put it up high but im afraid the pics will not be as good im lookin for some tricky ways to hide them like inside a tree or a stump something real good.

If you're trying to hide them from deer it can be tricky. They will pick out most disturbances. Something I have done is put them at the five to six foot level and angled slightly downward. The pics are just as good and the deer don't seem to mind. If you're hiding from other hunters just invest in some good lockboxes and paint them up in dark natural colors.

Im trying to hide it from other hunters just dont want another camera stolen. I was thinking about counter sinking it into a tree and then covering it with bark. Just thinking on the best route to get it done.

I put small sticks behind it so it look like part of the tree.

Have you tried lock boxes. I mean nothing is completely theft proof but a good lock box will slow them down a bit.

But be aware that nothing goes in front of the camera at all. You will be very unhappy when you pull your card and have 1000 pictures of a stick you put there.
