Ok question i have is this: I sight my bow in at 20, 30 and 40 yards on the ground. Most of my stands are 22 to 26 feet up. Are my arrows gonna hit higher or lower at the point of impact (aimpoint) and how much either way at the differant yardages? Im asking sinse i dont have the convenience to practice from those heights. Any help here would be appreciated

If your deer are farther out than 5yds from the base of your tree...you shouldnt to adjust your aiming point, but if closer, then aim a bit low...Best thing you can do is pick something to shoot at on the ground with a field point while on stand and see what takes place...the best would be to practice out of a stand during preseason !!!

I always carry a couple of arrows with field points to shoot out of my stand. Lots of benefits to doing so.
