BH.com, Why must you be my first thought when clicking my internet explorer icon? Why must you always try to flood my soul with new hunting knowledge? Why must you always quench my thirst for the outdoors while in the office? I got my first “warning” at work today for spending too much time on you. Does that bother me? No, because it is nice to be in a position that is hard to replace. Will I be able to conquer my addiction now since it is known throughout the office? Absolutely not! It just means I will have more “phone conferences” with my door shut. Oh BH.com I hate you so much, yet you are always there in my time of need. Forever yours, Sevi316
I have a 22" monitor and most days are spent with a split screen. Half of it is a bowhunt or die video with AutoCAD on the other half. When people walk in to talk about work I always have to say, "Wait a minute, Todd is about to shoot a 190" buck" even though I have seen that episode about 50 times. I got him dood, dooood I drilled him. Cracks me up everytime.
Ha no worries. By "Warning" I meant giving me a hard time. I am the director of IT at my work so I am able to block websites for the users.... BH.com might only be avalible to one person in the office Lucky for me I was not on Facebook when he walked in
Hi Sevi316. Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery. "Denial is not just a river in Egypt."
I have to say since i found this site about two weeks ago i have spent a great amount of work hours on it too. Dual monitors weren't enough (have to stay on top of that fantasy team. That is why i have a dedicated pc off the network test windows 8 (web site works great so far)
I am lucky enough that my superiors are in KC and I am in STL. I also have dual screens; one has my email and the other BH.com. I started using BH.com last year, but forgot my password after the season was over, so i just started over. Lol! I can't say my time is wasted on this site, but I can say my works time is. lol I try to balance work and play; however, this is serious stuff folks.
Bowhunting.com: Decimating the white collar work force since 2007. (Or whenever this site came on the scene!)
BH.com has definitely hurt my focus and productivity but whatcha gonna do? I have a shortcut set up in my toolbar, it gets a work out to say the least. Damn you BH.com! Good work boys!
College professors aren't so fond of it either. They say they "can't compete" with the distractions on my laptop. You're right Dr.400lbsmellysociology Professor! you can't compete with BH.com!
I have the same problem at work as well. Luckily I am allowed to do whatever I want on the internet, within reason of course.
