I just wanted to say hello. I am a first time bow hunter and am looking for any tips or suggestions that can help me become a better hunter.

For right now I have a cheap compound bow that has been set up for me (professionally) and shoots well. I am loving shooting everyday.

I am trying to become a better shot any help is appreciated.

    thanks

    Doug

Just having fun shooting is a great place to start. Once you are feeling comfortable with shooting, I recommend going to a good bow shop and having someone there watch you shoot and correct any form issues that you have. It's a lot easier to correct form issues early on and that will help you get a better foundation to build on and for me being better = more fun.

    Welcome neighbor.

Once you're hitting shots accurately at a comfortable distance increase your distance. Apart from that practice on form and consistency.
