New to bow hunting. I got a 2012 Bear Anarchy earlier in the year as a result of a trade. At first I was just going to use it for target shooting but recently decided to hunt with it. I have never hunted (gun or bow) before preferring to spend my falls on the water. Should be an interesting experience. This year I will be hunting public land up near Florence and Marinette Counties in Wisconsin, when visiting families up that way and he Horicon Marsh area in when I am home. Any advice or tips you can give me would be great.
Welcome to the forum! 1.) Use the wind to your advantage 2.) Scent kill everything, you can never have to much 3.) Practice, Practice, Practice! Confidence is key 4.) Always be ethical Prolly not the most important things but I'm sure others will chime in an add on!
Welcome to the site Mike! Good luck this Fall. Fuzz has some good pointers for you. Keep researching and asking questions on the forums. There are a ton of great & knowledgeable folks here to help you out
Welcome. I second Fitz's suggestions. Don't be afraid to start a new thread when a question pops up. Lots of great people here willing to help out.
Thanks for tips and welcomes. I have read quite a few things and learned a few things most importantly I thought I was done sighting my bow in. I figured since the broadheads are the same grain as my field tips I was good to go. Off to the pro shop for some more tuning.
