I have heard guys say that their eyesight is bad and it helps them see the pic better. I don't have a use for one. I see my pin really well.
I was referring to the long distance part . I personally prefer the slider for the longer shots. Those shots need more pin point accuracy than the close ones. So if the pin is set for the exact yardage, that gives the shooter more room for error than if his pin is already 4 or 5 yards off . Plus you should have more time to set the slider on the long shots. Im not shooting at deer that are moving around alot at longer distances . For close shots in the woods. Set sight for an average and you should be good. Ive never used a slider for hunting but will be this year. I have used much nicer sliders for targets though. sent from my samsung note 2
