What do yall think about these sights? My buddy just bought one and he really likes it over his multi pin sights. The pin is smaller and brighter and his shooting has improved a lot since he got it. He let me shoot it and i like it way more than my 5 pin sight. I only have 1 pin to focus on when i shot it and the pin was smaller so more accurate. I think i might be hooked on it. Is there any other sight like this that yall would reccomend or is this a pretty good sight?

The pin size should not be a factor. You can get a .019 pin in most multi pin sights as well.

You will generally shoot better with a single pin slider for a few reasons. The pin is centered which allows your eye to center the pin and housing which it naturally wants to do. You can also set the yardage for the exact yardage and that makes it more accurate.

However, will you have time to set the slider when the deer is moving away from you through the brush?

It probably won't make much difference if you have a birdie yardage for the stand set. You can be in a stand that has a range of 10- 30 yards so you set the slider at 26-27 yards and roll with it.

I prefer a multi pin .019 sight set in 5 yard increments
    Best of both worlds.

As for the HHA, my 14 year old son has one and the bubble was not square with the slider. This creates left right issues as the distance increased. I installed th 3rd axis block to the sight and set both the 2nd and 3rd which eliminated the problem. $15 well spent. But i also payed $50 for the hamskea 3rd axis leveling tool to get it set correctly.

TFOX nailed it. The only thing I will add is that HHA has really bright pins in those last few minutes because the fiber-optic is sooo long on them. On a second note. I really like the new(ish) G5 sight that is out right now. It is a 2 pin sight where one is stationary and one is adjustable. I think that is the best of ALL worlds.

Im using HHA and its my first one and wont be my last HHA sight! Best thing about it, Made in the USA! I love the single pin because it shows more when at full draw and looking through the peep. I havent had trouble yet this year with having to move the wheel for yardage i keep mine on the 20 yard line. I also love how its tool less to, no more allen wrenches when trying to sight in your bow. Also you cant go wrong with lifetime warranty!

I have an HHA myself and really like it. As mentioned, after ranging in the area I'm hunting in ill set my pin to about 20yds and leave it but up in CO hunting for elk I had it set on 30. I also practice shooting 10yds+- what I have the pin on. This is just encase I'm not able to adjust on the fly but usually am.
They have a new one out now with three pins that adjust which is what I think I'd buy next time. I've also got vertical and horizontal cross hairs on my HHA site so it's easy to self level.
    Good luck.

Im also looking at the 3 pin model. Actually forgot about it when i posted originally.

One piece of advice, don't use the cross hairs to level because they will level you to the ground which may or may not be level.

You could use the vertical on trees because they will generally grow straight up but not always. Much better off using the level.

Thanks for the tip. Most of my hunting is in flat lands but I would like to have a level the sight.

I haven't checked out the G5 adjustable sight but what about the Spot Hog sight? They seem big to me.

Check out the sight master sight it's a single pin slider also and you can add the optional touch master trigger to go with it which enables you to unlock the slide and be able to adjust it while at full draw using the index finger on your bow hand by either pushing or pulling it. I used to shot one of these and I actually liked it but when I bought my new bow I just went for something different after a couple of years using it. I will say that if you do go with one of these to go with the solid aluminum sight not the plastic my brother still shoots one of these sights on his Matthews reezan

I had an HHA but found it heavy. I replaced it with a sight from Impact Archery. They are out of Georgia. I actually have two of their single pin adjustables. One is a slider like the HHA and others (Cosmic) but much smaller and lighter. The other sight I have is a Solo Plus with the long bar and micro adjust for both windage and elevation. When micro tuning, you can't beat the fine adjustments for long yardage.
What I really like about this sight is that I can set the whole assembly to be bottomed out at 20 yards and then make all of my adjustments from there. For my set up, it is three turns on the elevation wheel to set for 30 yards, 3 1/2 turns to go from 30 to 40, and so on.
They are a small company and actually answer emails and phone calls. Plus, they are all USA.
Oh, and the best part? The price. Can't beat them for the features and quality. I bought my Cosmic for under $60. Try and find an HHA for that....

    Cool sites.
One thing I don't like about the HHA site one on my bow is it sticks out to far and hits the quiver and does not adjust past 68yds. OK, that's two things:)

Love my hha. Never had a need personally for more than one pin anyhow, so it works perfect for me.

I have the G5 xr2, Which has one fixed pin and one adjustable pin. The sight has helped alot improving my accuracy at longer distances. I like being able to adjust the sight for longer shots but if a deer comes running in on me i can use the fixed pin and not fumble with trying to adjust my sight.
