I had sighted in my HHA single pin (the rotary dial type) sight and thought I was set. The groups were decent and acceptable to my liking. Although, the 20 yard setting was resulting in higher arrow placement. Then I made some adjustments. The arrows on the QAD rest were too noisy so I added felt. Secondly, moved my kisser button up about 1" to have it closer to the corner of my lips. Now the bow shoots way high. HHA recommends to sight in at 20 and 60 yards. But the sight tops out at about 30 yards. Meaning I can't adjust the sight any higher to zero in at 20 yards. In other words, the most closest range setting on the sight would be around 27- 30 yards. My questions are these: 1. would changing the anchor position and addition of felt to the rest drastically affect the arrow placement? 2. Is there any way the to adjust the HHA sight to drop the arrow placement at 20 yards at the sight's actual 20 yard mark. The Halon 32 has two screw holes and there is no room for adjustment there. Thanks in advance. ben
Can you take a pic of your sight so we know exact model? There is most likely a gang adjustment on the sight elevation bar. I'd tune the bow where it needs to be and then adjust the gang setting if that's available.
Ah.. thank you! I think I know what you mean. Basically have to move it up one slot? See pic below attached. Ben
