I believe the stock copperjohn multipin I have on now is 2 inches. I'm interested in switching to the single pin HHA. Right now when shooting my peep perfectly encircles my sight.

Will the 3/8th difference between the sights make it necessary for me to switch peeps?
Has anyone else switched from a 2 inch to an 1 5/8th sight and had problems, etc?

    Thanks!
    -Joe

I'm shooting the 1 and 5/8 inch one and have had no problems. My experience has been that you won't center the sight in your peep every time due to the nature of the sight moving up and down for the yardage changes. I just make sure to anchor the same every time, knuckle to jaw bone, kisser button and nose on string. I actually think that you can go to a larger peep with no problem which could help with lower light situations.

I personally don't like the huge 2" scope housings myself. 1 5/8" is a good size all the way around

+1 Matt - I prefer a smaller profile sight bracket, so the 1-5/8" for me.

When I bought mine I ordered the OL 5519. They were out of stock and they told me they would send me the XL for the same cost. At first I wasn't wild about the bigger diameter but now that I am used to it I like it a lot.

I made the switch from a 2" to 1 5/8. Wish I would have went with the smaller diameter housing to begin with.
