Looking at getting a HHA for my new bow, however the range on base (and only place I have to shoot) only goes out to 40 yards. Being that its on a military base I can't just break the rules and back up another 20 yards. So my question is can I sight in a HHA sight at 20 and 40 yards and it still be accurate with the tapes?
Yes, you can sight in using the 20-40yd method. If you got the instructions with the sight it should be the odd ball color sheet. (yellow, or Green) Same Method as the 60 yd just the friendly version for people like us who can't practice 60 yds anywhere!
Thanks for the response! Now will that still give me out to 60 or 80 yards? or will i be limited to 40? I'm not use to this whole single pin thing.
http://www.hhasports.com/media/opt_ultra_conv_chart.pdf Check out this link, I believe you can shoot up to 60 after using (20 to 40) yardage tape. Good Luck
Accuracy beyond 40 will depend on how precise you get your 20 and 40. Which is also dependant upon your skill level. For most to be accurate at 60, they need to set it at 60. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
Do they have a setting for the hha now? I made a tape with archers advantage for mine but I first made one for the side and adjusted from there. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
Then I made this by matching up to the marks on the side. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
I haven't tried it with an HHA , but been using it on my CBE and MGBs...I know it was in the works though.
But I like the factory because they don't bleed from moisture so I ended up matching up it and putting it on. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
