    Yes, the land was purchased as potential land for the ice age trail. It was never intended to be public hunting and recreation land. Now that it is not being utilized for the purpose it was purchased for, yes it should be sold back. and the money it is sold for is being used to pay off some of the debt we have from the purchase of land around the state.

    The state buys, sells and trades land constantly.
