I think I did this a little backwards! I signed up for this forum a few days ago, when I was seeking some advise in buying a box mount for my ATV. Thank you to everyone who looked at that thread, and to those who replied as well. I grew up hunting and fishing with my Dad since I was about 7 or so. Dad taught me everything he knew and still continues to pass along "tricks of the trade". Dad had not shot a deer in several years...that is until this year! Dad shot a very nice mature deer, and let me tell you he had a "kool-aid" smile from ear to ear! I did too. So I prefer to hunt with my bow. Last year I upgraded from a 2006 Bowtech Justice, to a 2011 Bowtech Assassin. Wow, what a difference! I had hoped to "christin" my bow last August in Canada bear hunting. Unfortunately the weather, blueberries, and bear did not cooperate. But thats why it is called 'hunting' and not 'shooting'! Ill try for bear again this year.
